02
Initial Situation / Problem
The Instituto Distrital de las Artes (Idartes), Bogotá, operates a municipal net-radio platform (CK:WEB) as part of the cultural network. Existing content and a project index of audiovisual formats needed to be made user-accessible, playable and integrated into the web presence — without a consistent UX or a unified frontend module for browser and player.
03
My Role / Contribution
UX Design and Frontend Development within the Idartes Convenio framework (including Fundación G3):
- Analysis of the existing CK:WEB structure and the table/database for the project index
- Conception and wireframes for a browser interface to explore the content
- Conception and implementation of a player module for content playback
- Development of an indexing and query system for projects/content based on existing data
- Integration of the interfaces into the overall site and sign-off with the project team
04
Solution / Result
Integrated UX and JS module for the net-radio platform:
- User-friendly navigation and browser interface for exploring sonic/audiovisual content
- Player with playback and controls adapted to the project logic
- Project indexing from existing table/database with organisation, search and direct playback of related content
- Integration into the CK:WEB site and validation in collaboration with the project team
05
Impact / Added Value
- Access: Agile access to CK:WEB content as well as to the index of projects and collaborations
- Structure: Clear separation of navigation, player and index — extensible for further formats
- Culture & Technology: Strengthening the interface between municipal cultural funding (Idartes/Bogotá) and usable web technology
- International Project Reference: Reference for public cultural institutions and net-radio/platform projects
